FLEXIBLE CANCELLATION" OPTION

The purpose of this "Information Note" is to provide the Tourist (natural or legal person) who subscribes to and requests the "Flexible cancellation" option, with all the preliminary information necessary in order to arrive at the rights and obligations upon activation of the option.

1. Information related to the "Flexible Cancellation" option

  • 1.1. Prescriptions of the rights arising from the option.
    Every right towards WeRoad Italia S.r.l. deriving from this information is of tacit consent between the parties. The Traveller agrees to read this information notice that determines the conditions of refund of the option "Fexible Cancellation" for WeRoad Italia S.r.l.

    1.2. Complaints.
    Any complaints regarding the refund or the handling of the cancellation request must be made in writing to the Company: WeRoad S.r.l. - Viale Cassala 30 - 20143 MILAN (Italy), e-mail: [email protected]

2. Definitions

2.1. Tourist: the person requesting the "Flexible cancellation" option in the case of a natural person, the person of legal age with capacity to act or a minor with a declaration signed by the parent/legal guardian.

2.2. Event: the event that directly generated the cancellation request.

2.3. Family member: the participant's spouse, children, father, mother, brothers, sisters, grandparents, in-laws, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, brothers-in-law, uncles, first cousins, nieces and nephews, as well as any others living with the participant, provided that they are duly certified.

2.4. Journey: the journey, stay or rental, as evidenced by the relevant travel contract or document.

2.5. Pre-arranged group: two or more persons making a joint booking.

2.6. Basic booking: the price per person for each tourist package sold on www.weroad.travel. This price does not include any additional costs that may be selected when purchasing the tourist package.

3. Common regulations

3.1. Operation and effective date.

The coverage of the option expressly subscribed to through the travel booking form advertised on the website www.weroad.travel is operative

3.1.1. for journeys made for tourist purposes;

3.1.2. from the hours and day indicated in the booking confirmation. WeRoad S.r.l. shall use the time zone of Rome (UTC/GMT +1) as the reference for the effective date. The guarantee expires upon utilisation of the first contractually agreed service;

3.1.3. in the case of a natural person;

3.1.4. if the Traveller is of age and has the capacity to act

3.1.5. if the journey has been paid for

3.1.6. if stipulated by WeRoad Italia S.r.l. as organiser of the trip

3.1.7. if concluded at the same time as the date of booking the trip

3.1.8. if taken out to secure the basic booking

3.1.9. if taken out for a maximum capital of € 5,000.00 per case.

Failure by the intermediary agency and/or the organiser to pay the aforementioned sums on the agreed dates constitutes an express termination clause that will result in their termination by right.

4. Persons eligible for the "Flexible cancellation" option

The coverage of the option expressly subscribed to by means of a travel booking form advertised on the website www.weroad.it is only applicable to persons with legal capacity at the time of subscription. In the case of a booking made through a "prearranged group", the "Flexible cancellation" option only applies to persons for whom this option has been selected.

5. In the event of cancellation and activation of the "Flexible cancellation" option

The coverage of the option expressly subscribed to by means of a travel booking form advertised on the website www.weroad.travel is only applicable to persons with legal capacity at the time of subscription. In the case of a booking made through a "prearranged group", the "Flexible cancellation" option only applies to persons for whom this option has been selected.

5.1. The Traveller or whoever on his behalf decides to exercise the option "Flexible cancellation" shall give notice to WeRoad S.r.l. in accordance with the provisions of the individual warranties, promptly on the day of the event. Failure to comply with this obligation may result in the total or partial loss of the right to indemnity;

5.2 WeRoad S.r.l. shall pay claims in $USD.

6. Reference to legal regulations

For matters not expressly provided for in this "Information Note", reference is made to the Italian Civil Code and to the applicable laws.

7. Withdrawal by the tourist and obligations arising therefrom

In case of withdrawal, the tourist is always obliged to give written notice to WeRoad S.r.l., at the email [email protected] The communication must reach the organiser within the terms established by the following information note and the General Conditions. The state of the trip is considered on the day of the tourist's withdrawal.

8. Trip cancellation

In cases where the traveller/tourist has purchased the "Flexible Cancellation" Option

  • if the cancellation is exercised within 8 days prior to departure, he/she will be entitled to a refund of the Basic Reservation and the No Sharing Room option (if selected), but not of the fee for the "Flexible Cancellation" Option.

  • if the traveller/tourist's cancellation is exercised after the above-mentioned deadlines, he/she will have no right to the return of either the Basic Reservation, the No Sharing Room or the "Flexible Cancellation" Option Fee

In the event that the traveller/tourist has not purchased the "Flexible Cancellation" Option, if the cancellation is made 31 days prior to the part, he/she will be entitled to a refund of the sums already paid.
