The iconic Eilean Donan Castle

The castle is located on the tidal island of Eilean Donan and is connected to the mainland by a picturesque bridge. This is one of the most famous places in Scotland, not just for its romantic beauty but also because it has been the background of many movies and photo shoots. We’ll then cross the Skye Bridge and reach the Isle of Skye, where we’ll start exploring the southern part of the island.

Sligachan Bridge

The last stop for the day will be Sligachan Bridge, the perfect viewpoint to admire the Cuillin Mountains. The old stone bridge is now only used by cyclists and pedestrians, but its charm has been preserved through time especially given the myth of the enchanted waters of Sligachan. We can’t say too much about it here, so come along on the tour and discover the tale!

Trotternish peninsula

Today we are going to drive around the scenic Isle of Skye, admiring the beautiful Scottish landscapes surrounding us. The country roads are dotted with small farms whilst the coast continuously changes between steep cliffs and sandy stretches of beach.

We’ll reach Kilt Rock, a beautiful cliff in the north east of the Trotternish peninsula. The rock formation resembles a pleated kilt and its colour is very similar to the tartan pattern, hence the name. Here we will also find a beautiful waterfall, plunging from the top of the cliffs, straight into the sea.

Scotland is a land of myths and legends so we won't miss a walk around Fairy Glen. The area is dotted with small hills covered in moss, and the atmosphere is so enchanted, you’ll feel like you’ve stepped right into a fairy tale!

Cheers!

The next stop for the day is Talisker Bay, home of the Talisker Distillery. Here they produce one of the best single malt Scotch whiskies. Don't just take our word for it though, we fully expect you to have a taste and see for yourself! Besides, did you even go to Scotland if you didn't go to a whisky tasting?

Edinburgh

Today we’ll begin our tour of this charming city with a walk along the cobbled streets of the Old Town. Here, the buildings’ architecture reminds us a little of those magical, fairy-tale castles. We continue our walk along the Royal Mile, which runs through the heart of the old town, connecting Edinburgh Castle to Holyrood Palace. At the end of the mile long road, we’ll start the short hike to Arthur’s Seat, an ancient volcano which offers amazing views of the Firth of Forth and the whole city of Edinburgh.
